So that you might be saved from your sin, and gain eternal Life with God (Joh 14:29 • Joh 20:31) or be damned eternally. Most of all, because God loves you (Joh 3:16) more so, than any other being in the whole universe! He created you for eternal fellowship with Him and also has a Master Plan for your life (Psa 139:1-15). presently mapped out, custom designed just for you, to give you hope and a future (2Sa 14:14 • Jer 29:11 • Joh 10:3-4 • Act 17:26-27). Jesus even knows the number of hairs on your head (Luk 12:7), is intimately acquainted with you and even knew you before you were in your mothers’ womb. Jesus sufficiently proved His love for you/us by dying on that cross, so as to save you/us from your/our sins! (Rom 5:8). What sin? Your sin! The Bible says that ALL men and women have sinned and fallen short of His glory (Rom 3:23) and your own good-works are like filthy rags and cannot save you from your sins (Isa 64:6 • Eph 2:8), only the precious blood of Jesus can save you from your sins and Jesus declared to be the only way (Joh 14:6).
BUT I AM A GOOD PERSON ~ ARE YOU REALLY?
The Bible says that there is no one that does 100% good from cradle to grave, that there is none righteous, no not one and that all men have sinned! (Rom 3:10 • 3:23). Jesus said, if we broken ONE of His laws, we are GUILTY of breaking them ALL -(Jam 2:10). It is true, that if we were to compare ourselves with other human beings, we may indeed be better than most, especially better than murderers, rapists, kidnappers, child-molesters, thieves and etc. however, these people KNOW that they ARE SINNERS, but WE who have never committed such crimes, erroneously tend to think, WE ARE GOOD... But, if we compare ourselves unto God, we ALL stand condemned and fall-short. In fact, we cannot even keep Gods' 10-Commandments! If God were to judge you by His 10-Commandment, where would you and I stand?
Why don't we test ourselves to see where we stand. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions, to see if you are a good person? Ok, let's begin. . .
1) FIRST COMMANDMENT - Have you loved the Lord your God/Creator with all your heart, soul, mind and strength? And loved your neighbor as you love yourself?
2) SECOND COMMANDMENT - Do you have any idols in your life, that are more important than God? Your spouse/partner, children, money, sex, material things?
3) THIRD COMMANDMENT - Have you ever taken the Lord's name in vain? Have you ever used His name as a curse word? Used His name in the telling of jokes?
4) FOURTH COMMANDMENT - Have you kept the Sabbath Day Holy? Do you take one-day out of 7 to pray, worship, honor, seek, thank and talk to Him?
5) FIFTH COMMANDMENT - Have you honored your Mother and Father? Have you ever once done anything to dishonor them, bring them shame?
6) SIX COMMANDMENT - Have you ever murdered anyone in cold blood? Jesus said, if we HATE ANOTHER in our hearts, we are guilty of murder!
7) SEVENTH COMMANDMENT - Have you ever committed Adultery? Jesus said if we have LUSTED after another, we are guilty of Adultery!
8) EIGHTH COMMANDMENT - Have you ever stolen anything? Ever stolen someone else's belongings, ideas, plagiarized their writings?
9) NINTH COMMANDMENT - Have you ever told a lie? Or born false witness in a court of law? Committed perjury? Paid your taxes?
10) TENTH COMMANDMENT - Have you ever coveted after your neighbor's wife, husband, job, house, life, car, family and etc?
So, how did you do? I know I'm guilty of most the above! The Bible says in James 2:10 ~ For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. If God were to judge us, based upon these 10-Commandments alone, where would you stand? Jesus taught us that WE ALL are born as CONDEMNED already -(John 3:18). So, what is one to do about our sinful nature and this condemnation looming over our heads? Well, we surely do not want JUSTICE, but instead, we should seek after and desire HIS MERCY, which He is so willing to give -(2Pe 3:7 • Jam 2:13) and all He asks of us, is to confess our sins to Him, turn to him for forgiveness and daily guidance and believe that He is who He said He was (God-incarnate), then make Him your rightful Lord and Savior!. What more could our loving Creator do for us that he has not already done? Has He not done enough already?

John 3:16-17 ~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world, through Him, might be saved. He that believes on him is not
condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
